Where to go and what to do in Santiago

Hello again. Well, if one of my friends would like to visit the capital of this country, I'd be pleased to said him which places he must visits and which places he might ignore.
First of all, in my personal opinion is very important that he would visit the Italian square, because this place is like the center of the celebration to the people who lives in Santiago when something really important happenned, like when the football team of Chile win and important match.
Another place he should visit is the Moneda, the principal building in Chile when the president stay and has her reunions; and to take advantage of that visit, he could see the Entel tower, wich is very close to The Moneda.
Now, if my friend would like to have a really good time in Santiago, I think the places that he should visit, are the Bellavista town or the Sueacia town. In those two places, there are a lot of pubs, bars, and cafes when he could get really drunk and, why not, he could meet a young lady. Anyway, Santiago has a lot of places when he can have a good time and places to admire. Good bye, see you in another time.

  1. Good post Felipe.

I´ve been to La Moneda, but I haven´t been to the other places you mentioned. They sound like a good place to go get a beer. I´ll have to try them.

Anyway, here are a few grammar comments:

--"..pleased to said to him..." should be "pleased to say to him..." This is in the present tense.

--"when the president stays and has her reunions" should be "where the president stays and has her meetings". You want "where" not "when", and remember to conjugate your verb.

--Also, in the last paragraph, you use "when" a couple of times when it should be "where".

    Take care

    Joe
